Collin Street Bakery - Now Serving Dogs!
Since 1896, Collin Street Bakery has been crafting specialty sweets to delight customers around the world. Started by German baker August “Gus” Weidmann and salesman Tom McElwee, Collin Street Bakery grew from a small bakery in Corsicana, Texas, to a booming bakery delivering fruitcakes and pecan pies to 196 countries. No matter where you live or what you like, from our world-famous DeLuxe Fruitcake to our Praline Pecan Cheesecake, we bake something for every palate.
We are committed to quality, making our fruitcakes with only the ripest cherries, plumpest raisins, sweet pineapples, lush papayas, and native pecans, specially packaged in a keepsake tin. The same goes for our other Texas pecan pies, cheesecakes, cakes, and pies, all of which are freshly packed and delivered in a timely fashion. Therefore we are delighted to announce the newest addition to our array of baked goods—specialty dog treats!
Collin Street Bakery has just partnered with Two Sisters Bakery, a company that provides organic artisan dog treats. When it comes to our furry friends, we want to give them the same kinds of delicious treats as those baked at Collin Street Bakery. Utilizing only natural, nutrient rich ingredients, Two Sisters Bakery upholds the same baking ideology: That great treats come from only the best, natural ingredients.
Inspired by sister German Shepherds Micky and Sissy, Two Sisters Bakery was formed with the goal of providing a healthier dog treat alternative compared to the artificially flavored and processed versions currently available. Ingredients include organic oatmeal, bananas, oranges, eggs, peanut butter, and organic barley flour. These crunch cookies also aid in fighting plaque. There are currently five varieties to delight pups of all sizes:
- - Sweeties Rewards, a sweet potato and cranberry cookie
- - Nutty Buddies, classic peanut butter flavored cookie
- - Pumpkin Pie, reminiscent of a seasonal favorite
- - Blueberry Crunchies, a blueberry coconut cookie
