People love our fruitcake. They love it. Not to be confused with a heavy like. We mean LOVE. (L-U-V if you’re feeling sassy.) We’ve been saying it for years and yet many scoff, thinking we’re exaggerating just a bit. Loving fruitcake? To some, that seems about as likely as loving flat tires, slow internet, or printer paper jams. But we’re super serious. We understand our claim seems to be a bit far fetched. There is a shocking number of fruitcake shamers out there.
To clear up the confusion, we don’t want to defend bad fruitcakes (because we do know they exist). However, we do want to ask that our cakes be given a fair shake. We know once upon a time, you might have had a less than positive experience, but writing off all fruitcakes because of one bad cake is like writing off all pants because you once tried a pair that didn’t fit… That analogy might be a bit of a stretch but here’s our point. Our Bakery doesn’t make bad fruitcakes. We make great fruitcakes... Fruitcakes that make you rethink all your bad thoughts about fruitcake!
