Willy Wonka and the Fruitcake Factory
Every year the community gathers down the historic brick streets of Corsicana to celebrate Christmas. Local businesses, schools, churches, and organizations all participate by decorating a float and spreading Christmas cheer.
This year, the Bakery decided on the theme “Willy Wonka and the Fruitcake Factory." Complete with adorable Oompa Loompas and Collin Street’s executive staff passing out candy and golden tickets along the parade route, all were filled to the brim with the spirit of the holiday! “We wanted the crowd to have fun and be entertained, and we did just that!” said Semetric, Collin Steet’s Bakery’s Comptroller.
We believe this is an opportunity to bring the community together and spread the Christmas spirit. It is one of the things we love most about our small town of Corsicana, Texas.
