What is the difference between a Texas Pecan Cake and a fruitcake?
Our Texas Pecan Cakes and DeLuxe® Fruitcakes are made with similar ingredients and in similar fashions, therefore both could be considered fruitcakes. The primary differences between these two cake categories are their flavors and toppings—our Texas Pecan Cakes each have their own unique combinations of fruits and nuts, giving each cake its own unique flavor. Additionally, unlike our DeLuxe® Fruitcakes, our Texas Pecan Cakes are not decorated with our signature glaceéd, red- and green-colored fruits.
