What is the best way to decorate Collin Street Bakery's King Cake?

Before decorating, we recommend inserting the miniature baby figurine into the bottom of the cake. To accomplish this, turn the cake upside down and gently press the figurine into the center of the cake—take care to not press the figurine through the top of the cake. Once completed, turn the cake right side up and top with the vanilla icing. Icing can be drizzled, pipped, poured, or spread. If the icing is too thick for your desired application method, we recommend placing the icing in a microwave-safe bowl and microwaving it for 10-second increments or until the desired consistency is reached. Once the icing is applied, sprinkle on the edible decorative sugars. Once decorated to your liking, slice and serve!
