Celebrate National Ice Cream Month with A Recipe to Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth

National Ice Cream Month, celebrated every July, is a delightful tribute to one of America's favorite desserts. The inception of this sweet observance dates back to 1984 when President Ronald Reagan recognized the significant role ice cream plays in American culture. Historically, National Ice Cream Month has inspired creativity and experimentation, with home bakers and professional pastry chefs taking this month as an opportunity to invent new flavor combinations and recipes. Inspired by local culture and seasonal ingredients, this blog aspires to contribute to nationwide ice cream creativity.

Below, you’ll find three unique and mouth-watering ice cream-themed recipes that will take your love for this dairy delight to the next level. Get ready to enjoy cheesecake milkshakes, cookie ice cream sandwiches, and fruitcake ice cream sundaes.

Ice Cream Sandwiches

INGREDIENTS
1 Sliced DeLuxe® Fruitcake
1 pint of vanilla ice cream
Mini chocolate chips or crushed nuts (optional)

Step 1: Remove the ice cream from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes or until it's soft enough to scoop.
